Mentorship

Mentorship is a crucial aspect of personal growth and development, and Men of Iron (MOI) recognizes the importance of providing men of color with strong and supportive mentors. Our mentorship program offers a unique opportunity for men to connect with experienced and successful mentors who can provide guidance and support as they navigate the challenges of life. Our mentorship training program equips both mentors and mentees with the tools and resources needed to build a strong and effective mentorship relationship.

Statistics show that fatherlessness is a major issue facing men of color, with as many as 50% of children in communities of color growing up without a father in the home. This can have a significant impact on a child's development and future success, leading to issues such as lower academic achievement, higher rates of poverty, and increased likelihood of involvement in the criminal justice system. However, with the help of MOI's mentorship program, men of color can gain the guidance they need to overcome these challenges and become successful fathers and role models for the next generation. Our mentorship program is designed to empower men of color to take an active role in their own growth and development, and to become leaders in their homes, churches, and communities.
